The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell of North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, hosted the grand inauguration of the “North East Festival,” showcasing the vibrant culture of the region.
The event was graced by the presence of Shri. Phagu Chauhan, Hon’ble Governor of Meghalaya, who attended as the Chief Guest, and Shri. Rakkam A Sangma, Hon’ble Education Minister, who graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
The inaugural function of the festival offered a glimpse into the rich heritage, traditions, and artistic expressions of the North East. Participants from various states presented captivating performances, reflecting the diversity and talent of the region.
