In a significant development, the foundation stone for the Tribal Girls’ Hostel at the College of Agriculture (CoA), Central Agricultural University (CAU), Pasighat, was laid on September 21, 2023. The project is funded by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi.
The honorable Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Pasighat, Sri Kaling Moyong, presided over the foundation stone-laying ceremony. Dr. P. Das, Former Deputy Director General (Agricultural Extension) at ICAR, New Delhi, and Dr. A. K. Tripathi, Dean of CoA, Pasighat, were also present at the event, highlighting the collaborative efforts to enhance educational infrastructure in the region.
