In a significant step towards realizing the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision for sports development, the Department of School Education & Literacy, in partnership with AIFF and FIFA, has launched the Football for Schools (F4S) program across India. A total of 5,462 footballs have been distributed to 1,013 schools spanning 33 districts in Gujarat and 3 districts of DD&DNH, following successful implementations in Odisha and Maharashtra. This nationwide initiative is geared towards fostering the well-being of students and propelling the growth of football in various States/Union Territories (UTs).
