Guru Ghasidas Central University Holds 19th Internal Quality Assurance Cell Meeting to Enhance Academic Excellence

On July 20, Guru Ghasidas Central University witnessed the 19th meeting of its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) under the respected chairmanship of Professor Alok Kumar Chakrawal, Vice-Chancellor of the University. The meeting took place in the meeting hall of the administrative building and was presided over by Prof. Chakrawal.

During the meeting, IQAC Director Prof. PK Bajpai threw light on the theme of the meeting. Addressing the program, Prof. Chakrawal emphasized on the important role of teachers in shaping the society and the nation. As Gyan Kunj, he said that it is the responsibility of the university to bring positive change and spread new knowledge in the society.

Pro. Chakrawal expressed his vision to make Guru Ghasidas University nationally reputed in the field of academics, research and innovation. He stressed that achieving this grand vision requires untiring cooperation of all the stakeholders. He envisions that the university should be a guiding light that should pave the way for the world.

Highlighting the importance of teachers and educational institutions in promoting self-reliance among the youth, Prof. Chakrawal emphasized on working for the development of humanity and the country. He envisioned Guru Ghasidas University as a beacon that would guide the world into the future.

In this spirit, inspired by the vision of the Vice Chancellor, a felicitation ceremony was organized for innovative teachers in the smart classroom of the Department of Biotechnology. University Registrar Professor Manish Srivastava and SECL Bilaspur Director Personnel Mr. Devashish Acharya were present in the function.

The meeting also welcomed Akshat Kant, National Convener of ‘Nasha Mukt Samaj Andolan – Abhiyaan Kaushal’ and alumnus Ravindra Pratap Singh as outside experts, who provided valuable insights into the event.

Overall, the 19th meeting of IQAC at Guru Ghasidas Central University aims at enhancing academic excellence, fostering innovation and strengthening the institution’s position on the national educational landscape.
