In the 10th convocation of the university, students will be honored with medals by the President
Guru Ghasidas University’s 10th Convocation ceremony will be held on September 1 at 10 am in the Silver Jubilee Auditorium. Keeping in view the grandeur and dignity of the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Alok Kumar Chakrawal held a review meeting of preparations for the Convocation ceremony on Saturday. 500 to 800 guests will see a glimpse of tribal folk art
A clear number has not yet been revealed regarding the guests in Diksha, but it is believed that 500 to 800 guests will come from India and abroad. 28 PhD and 76 Gold Medals will be awarded
Students who got first place in the merit list in various examinations (undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma) of the academic session 2021-22 will participate in the ceremony. PhD degree will be awarded to 28 research scholars and gold-plated medals to 76 students. These include University Medal, Chancellor Medal and Guru Ghasidas University Medal and Donor Medal.
President for the fourth time in the Guru Ghasidas University
This will be the second visit of the President after Guru Ghasidas University was established as a Central University.
