Available Positions:
- Faculty (Marine Engineering) – 4 Posts
- Qualifications:
- MEO Class (Motor) Certificate of Competency (DGS, Govt. of India)
- 6 months of sailing experience at Management level (STCW Convention)
- VICT/TOTA Course Certificate or willingness to complete before joining
- AECS and TSTA Course Certificate or willingness to complete after joining
- Desirable: 6 months of teaching/training experience at Maritime Training Institutes in India
- Duties: Teaching & training Pre-Sea and Post-Sea courses in Marine Engineering
- Age Limit: Preferably below 62 years
- Remuneration: As per IMU norms
- Qualifications:
- Faculty (Nautical Science) – 2 Posts
- Qualifications:
- Master (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency (DGS, Govt. of India)
- 6 months of sailing experience at Management level (STCW Convention)
- VICT/TOTA Course Certificate or willingness to complete before joining
- AECS and TSTA Course Certificate or willingness to complete after joining
- Desirable: 6 months of teaching/training experience at Maritime Training Institutes in India
- Duties: Teaching & training Post-Sea courses in Nautical Science
- Age Limit: Preferably below 62 years
- Remuneration: As per IMU norms
- Qualifications:
- Workshop Instructor (Electrical Engineering) – 1 Post
- Qualifications:
- 3-year Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or PO/CPO/MCPO in Electrical Branch (Indian Navy/Coast Guard)
- VICT/TOTA Course Certificate or willingness to complete before joining
- Relevant work experience for at least 1 year
- Duties: Training Inland Vessel Crew, assisting Faculty in Workshops/Simulators, maintaining workshop equipment
- Age Limit: Preferably below 57 years
- Remuneration: As per IMU norms
- Qualifications:
- Workshop Instructor (Marine Engineering) – 1 Post
- Qualifications:
- Marine Fitter from Merchant Navy or PO/CPO/MCPO from Indian Navy/Coast Guard
- VICT/TOTA Course Certificate or willingness to complete before joining
- Duties: Instructing students, assisting Faculty, maintaining workshop equipment, training Inland Vessel Crew
- Age Limit: Preferably below 57 years
